Loose Lead Walking Training
Learn how to understand your dog's behaviour and teach loose lead walking with them. Understand how we handle our dogs affects their behaviour choices. Start your new journey together and enjoy walks together. You will also learn common mistakes that affect loose lead walking and how to avoid them.
Training and Management
You will learn ways to manage the environment while we are training our dogs to set them up for success. This course has two group lessons.
The first is in the Jubilee Hall, Waterlooville where we will learn the basic skills. The second class is outdoors at the Dog Gym in Denmead where we take our training and progress it with outside distractions.
Designed to help you start and progress walking together with your dog.

Each group class lasts 40 minutes. During the course, we will help you to both teach and understand your dog.
We deliberately keep our classes small with up to 4 dog’s maximum per session, to create a most positive learning environment for all.
Your dog must be friendly towards people and dogs, if you have concerns about your dog's behaviour, please contact us before booking your place.

Learn and teach your dog to start to walk without pulling on the lead. Understand how your handling affects your dog during the walk. Learn about different types of equipment, which ones to use and which to avoid.
Learn how to read and understand your dog's body language and behaviour.
Building your dog's focus on you being part of the walk together. Understand the walk through your dog's senses. Learn how and why to train useful behaviours such as Name Recognition, Automatic Focus, Hand Touch and more.
Learn how to add automatic behaviours such as waiting at a curb. Walking past distractions.
The two group classes will give you the skills to successfully be able to teach and take your dog Loose Lead Walking. The 1-2-1 session is designed to help you take the training into everyday real life together.
